Effects of revetments on soil bacterial communities in the adjacent tidal urban river-riparian interface

چکیده

River-riparian interfaces (RRIs) of urban rivers are where river ecosystems interact with the riparian soil ecosystems. However, intensification urbanization, construction various revetments changes energy exchange process between and RRI, affects properties, then bacterial community composition structure. In this study, natural (NR), permeable (PR), impervious (IR) same section were selected. The abundance communities detected by PCR amplification technology. Alpha diversity, Beta composition, environmental factor correlations analyzed. results showed: (1) dominant genera NR, IR, PR similar, mainly Anaerolineae, Vicinamibacterales, Ardenticatenales, Rokubacteriales. There 504 PR, accounting for 69.52%, 69.33%, 62.22% total, respectively. (2) Due to material water buffering effect revetment on frequent level changes, richness, lineage diversity higher than those NR IR. (3) SOM, pH, oxygen, nutrients critical factors that affect at RRI. research provide a theoretical basis further exploring impact service function

The Soil Bacterial Communities of South African Fynbos Riparian Ecosystems Invaded by Australian Acacia Species

Riparian ecosystem along rivers and streams are characterised by lateral and longitudinal ecological gradients and, as a result, harbour unique biodiversity. Riparian ecosystems in the fynbos of the Western Cape, South Africa, are characterised by seasonal dynamics, with summer droughts followed by high flows during winter. The unique hydrology and geomorphology of riparian ecosystems play an i...
